Lindsey turns 19 today! It's pretty awesome that we are only a year and half apart from each other....here are some memories and things about my little sis!-she is a saint for putting up with my "first child syndrome" disorder. she has been bossed around probably more times than anyone i know and yet she still hangs around me
-we used to have legs wars on the couch that would always end up in brutal wrestling matches
-we were on many many soccer teams together
-we used to share a room and sometimes when we would get sick of each other we would attempt to make our one room into two rooms via masking tape in the middle of the carpet, sheets hangin from the ceiling and bunkbeds, you name if we thought of it
-lindsey has excellent style, i am very jealous of her because of it
-i remember i use to worry about her "not making it to heaven" when i was little so i would try to tell her what she should do, like read scriptures and such, little did i know she would be the one helping me to do those things...many times i would walk past her room and see her studying her scriptures and it would set me back on track
-she absolutely loves dogs...shadow( a remote control dog) was good family friend...
-we used to have a radio disney club...we listened to the radio station all day....and would call in constantly...for who knows what reason...i think one time we got throught
- she loves anything pink and sparkly and girly
-and she will kill me for saying this but she kinda has a thing for elvis...i believe it is fading now...but she was in the newspaper because of it....
-she is a fabulous hairstylist...her hair always looks perfect. she has done wonders for my hair...(she did my hair for my wedding)
-we used to watch e.t. on sundays, but it scared us too bad, especially the part in the corn field...so we would watch it through a hole in one of the blankets we had.
-in high school...i found it hilarous to come up behind her in a crowded hallway, pinch her bum, then disappear in the crowd....she gave some boys behind her pretty nasty looks..
-we had so much fun whenever she would visit me in logan: dressing up like hippies, building forts, blog stalking
-we have made some pretty awesome movies, while driving in the blazer
-we kinda can read each others minds....we have certain facials expressions that can cue each other in on what we are thinking....like there is a certain lady we see who we aren't the fondest of ....and it takes one certain facial expression from lindsey to know that she is around...
-she is a really hard worker, she seems to be working all of the time...and she goes to hair school
-my all-time favorite story of lindsey is this: when we first moved to utah lindsey was about four or five....one morning she was outside when my mom heard curly headed Lindsey yelling to the newspaper boy "get the hell off my property"...apparently she had picked up a few phrases from home alone.....she was kinda a fiesty one when she was little...and i would say she still is...that's what i love about her
