This week was a pretty crazy week....it was the week of relay for life....and i decided to take a little vacation in the middle of it...i have been running around for 5 months trying to get food donations and making sure we had enough food, and that we were obeying all the crazy health department rules(which we didn't even follow), and just putting that final touch on everything so it would all go smoothly....which it did i am happy to say....
as i mentioned in the middle of the chaos max and i took a little vacation to park city....and had so much fun......we stayed in a condo with his family on the canyons resort. we went up on {wednesday} after work and started off at the park city farmers market...so loved it..i kinda have a thing for farmers markets....then spent the evening talking, hot tubing and watching unidentified flying oddball (a very old Disney movie, that Max just had to watch again)
{thursday} was Caprice's birthday. we shopped at the outlets forever and i found the shirts of my dreams. Max also bought me my dream rain jacket from the columbia outlet...i am in love with it.....i probably will wear it everyday...even when its 100 degrees...we had lunch at yummy bajio.....then took a lovely stroll along main street..it made it to my list of top ten favorite streets in america....that's a pretty big deal...it is the cutest street ever, just secretly tucked away in pine tree covered hills...so beautiful....
{friday} we had to leave and this was day 1 of relay....the day was loca...i only had one breakdown.....got to relay around 4....and stayed until 1:30....but as i said everything turned out perfectly.....there were so many people there for the dinner...the entertainment was fun, i had enough pizzas for everyone, and we raised 9,000 dollars, all going towards cancer support!! My sweet husband and family helped out so much and were a huge support. it really was a nice event to celebrate those brave survivors who have fought so hard to win this battle. for me that was the part that was worth it....in the opening ceremonies seeing how many survivors were there...and were alive and happy and so grateful to have another day made every stressful second of the past 5 months...oh so worth it....
day 4 {saturday} mi familia was still here so we went to another farmers market {i told you i'm obsessed} this time to the one in provo....i could spend all day there...and now i am in this sort of creative mood where i just want to make bags and headbands and paintings all day...but a las i have no materials to do such...so i shall continue to just make them in my head....also when the family left
...to end la semana loca i took a fabulous four hour nap...don't judge i stayed up late
p.s. last night we booked our tickets to BRUSSELS...it's official...we leave September 24 and return December 22..{see mom i told you we would be back for Christmas}....

Ahhh I'm so jealous!! That will be AMAZING living over there. Can I visit, please? I wish so bad that I could.
I want to go to that street in Park City, it looks so cute. You and Max are babes. He would buy you a jacket...just like someone else I know, haha.
I'm glad your crazy week is over! Reeeelax my dear. Youre awesome.
I bet your Mom is so happy you will be back for Christmas! What an amazing trip you guys get to experience... keep it up before any babies come:) It gets a little harder to plan after that. Oh, how I love Park City, looks like you had such a fun time!
