happy thanksgiving

max and i celebrated our first thanksgiving together tonight. we are leaving for ukraine tomorrow so we celebrated a day early.
it was a very different thanksgiving
we had chicken instead of turkey, no stuffing, no corn, no pumpkin pie, no mom's famous rolls

but it really helped me to reflect on the many blessings i have
i am grateful to have max and to be having so many fun experiences together
i am grateful for family.
i am grateful for america, even grateful for provo.
i am so grateful for the gospel of jesus christ.
i am grateful for rain jackets and rain boots.
i am grateful for silly things like can openers, microwaves, listening to the radio in the car, running, burritos, board games.
i am grateful for mountains and fresh air.
i am grateful for good smelling people.
i am grateful for the sun...haven't seen it for a while
i am thankful for the good memories i have
i am grateful for lunch breaks..so i am not alone all day
i am thankful for the life i have been given and for the happiness i feel everyday.
