lovely isn't it..and the greatest rule is you can only have 4 nail holes in a room, and if there are already 4 holes you can't make new ones. so we get to place things wherever a previous tenant made the holes..it's wonderful....(also notice in the corner of the picture....the small white circle on the wall...it's my carbon monoxide detector...the first thing we put up, and it put it right at the entrance to our room so that no poisoning will get in our room...i'm just a little paranoid..but if you don't have one seriously GO GET ONE TODAY...they save lives)
here is my most favorite item of the week....
this little guy is an electric blanket that has been keeping me toasty warm...our bedroom seems to be the same temperature as outside..due to the lovely white brick walls..
we are quite enjoying our new little place. i would post more pics but i still don't feel like the living room is quite right. i am dying to print some europe pictures to hang those up..but anyways its good to have a home..i am really beginning to realize the importance of having a home and how even the little tasks like dish washing and vacuuming can add so much meaning to life. sounds strange i know but i really things its the little daily things we do that make a home a home.

You're beginning to realize the importance of washing dishes and vacuuming? How? Oh, you mean you realize how important it is for me to do them? Okay, I get it now.
does that blue gooey stuff work to hang up pictures? and, hey, if you go to target they sometime have those picture frames for walls that have a gazillion places for pictures and only requires one hole in the way. i use them. i love them. hows byu? we missed you at din din.
