Philadelphia Week #2

The husband has successfully completed week 2 of Grad School....it was a very busy week for him but i think he is starting to get the hang out it and is enjoying the city life

 on friday he got to go to New York first the very first time and visit the Estee Lauder headquarters...this is a view from the 40th floor...

 he had his first "country boy in a big city" moment here...he didn't understand why some of the floors only elevators that went a few floors.....it just didn't make sense...so he had to ask someone and they explained to him the concept of an express elevator....we are going to have a lot of things to learn about city life

 he got to have lunch in central park

 he was very excited to see wall street being a finance guy and all

we spend lots of time texting, and skyping....it's become our norm..

today in our conversation i jokingly told him to make a paper chain countdown for when we get to see each other...he told me he already had...he bought paper bowls and counted out the number of bowls needed until I came....so every morning he counts the amount of bowls left and that lets him know how many more days until i am with him...this morning it was 5...

i sure love that guy

friday can't come soon enough!
