utah visit

i've realize i start to get homesick when it's been about 3 months since i've seen family...so after not seeing them for 6 months it was wonderful to see everyone. wish max could've come with me. poor kid works 60 hours a week and has no free time but i sure appreciate what he is doing for us.

{road trip to rexburg to surprise lindsey for her birthday}

{we had been planning with sean to surprise lindsey for her birthday. the plan was to surprise her at cafe rio. so my dad decided to dress up like a creeper and was going to just sit in cafe rio and see if she noticed. well lindsey decided she wanted to go shopping before dinner so we decided we would surprise her at old navy. so my dad was hiding around one corner and lindsey was around the other and they both came out and passed each other at the same time. lindsey kind of just passed him and then did a double take and just stood there. she was so shocked! we asked what her first thought was and she said she just thought "ugly"!

 

{we stayed in a hotel and jack and i had to share a bed. it lasted until 4 am when he rolled over and pretty much pushed me out of bed...so i slept on the couch..it was a long night}

{she was a little unsure of me when i first got there. it was so fun to hang out with caprice and angela and eliza all day}

{so fun that she is in the learn and repeat everything stage}

{as you can see in the video i told her to say hi to max...i love that she came around to look at my phone screen. i was amazed that she knows she can talk to max through skype}

{just shopping as if she were a teenager. i held up a tan and black shirt and asked her if she thought it was cute and she shook her head no. then i held up a hot pink shirt and asked and she said "cuute"}

{one of the reasons for my visit to utah was to throw my bestie a baby shower. i loved being able to spend so much time doing the decorations! i usually agree to do decorations for parties and end up trying to do it all the night before}
