june 2014

june was a busy month for us. we started getting the babies room ready.

jacob came for a visit. he really came to go to a 3-day concert with Max. he flew into NYC, so we spent the day there (with a very tired Jacob who had a taken a red eye). then he got strep throat, and watched all 3 extended versions of Lord of the Rings with Max. thankfully he got better before the concert. 

firefly was the name of the concert. located in delaware. The camped out for 3 days and literally went to concerts all day. on the last day they went first thing in the morning to get a spot at the main stage. they literally ran to the stage and got a spot right up on the bar. they stayed there ALL day. they didn't eat or go to the bathroom...they didn't move.....they were there from 10 am to 10 pm. and they loved every moment. 

then max and i took a road trip to maine. we had so much fun exploring the coast. we went antiquing, ate lots of yummy seafood and ice cream, enjoyed the beautiful nature of bar harbor, and enjoyed our last vacation before logan!
