something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue

Husband and I had a fabulously busy weekend!! School/Finals ended on Wednesday so we were free to leave Provo for a little bit. So on Thursday we drove up to Ogden to help decorate for the WEDDING...on our way there we stopped at my brothers soccer game. He made the WEBER HIGH team this year....out of like 130 kids that tried out..i am pretty dang proud of him if you can't tell. It seems weird for him to be on the Weber team because it doesn't seem like too long ago that me and my friends were the screaming girls on the center line at every game....

Then I headed to the decorating party....my dad's sisters and mother are the most fabulous decorators ever...the church looked beautiful with purple tulips adorning the tables and wreaths....i pretty much go just to watch them work their magic...and listen to their stories

Then Friday rolled around....i guess i should mention who got married...my cousin/best friend from birth married my old neighbor/once baby-sitter....story behind there meeting....my mom and dad set them up simple as that ....so of course my father dibs that their first boy be named after none other than him....

the wedding: absolutely beautiful...it was the first time i was able to attend a wedding in the temple and it has been one of my most favorite experiences.....i am so grateful for the beliefs i have that allow our families to be together forever...and the happiness and hope that that knowledge brings to my life

the happy couple
The girls (and yes we are related)
The Three Muskateers

the other happy couple (4 months)

Luncheon: we had a fabulous luncheon at the timbermine......laughing at my aunt who when she stood up to introduce our table, couldn't remember my name and yet she remembered husband's name and our last name....and she has only known them for maybe a year....as compared to the 20 years she has known mine

my sister is actually in the truck. the sign on the pole says it's being monitored by video survallance

little brother number 2 had a track meet in between the luncheon and reception...it was fun to watch him run the 800 that i loved running in jr. high...it was funny but the smell of the track still fills my stomach with butterflies

reception: i was a bridesmaid and it was so much fun...i love weddings...and how everyone who loves and supports these two gather together to express that support...it was fun to catch up with old friends and to be around family...we always have a great time when the family is together..everyone brings something special to the family so when we are together we always have a good time.....i've been really blessed with a close family...they are my best friends

hangover: never take benadryl it's not worth a two day hangover

friend:i caught up with my blonde haired friend....whom i love very much....

concert: my cute/beautiful sister-in-law had a dance recital. she does ballroom dance and she is so good at it. her lines and steps were so graceful...and she is only 14....but the cutest girl in the world and the biggest example to me....she stands up for what she believes and lives it too...and i am so grateful for her and the way she lives her life

Highlight: I now know that if a ninja and a spartan were to fight in a battle, the spartan would win. Thank you husband for making me watch Spike TV with you.
