never wanted to photoshop
i wanted to be a photographer so amazing i would never have to use photoshop...that somehow magically i could capture rich colors...well lo and behold i was playing around with some pictures...and this is what turned out...and i fell in love..so i guess i will have to be a photoshopper :)

Agreed! I took a Photoshop class at school and now i'm converted. now i only have to buy the darn thing.. haha
My bro and I were talking about this...he had a girlfriend who thought photoshop was totally cheating and should never be used. He was saying how our eye captures colors so much more perfectly then a device (camera) ever could, that it is often necessary to tweak the photo to more closely resemble what the eye would actually see. Add to that the emotion that goes into what we are seeing, and that is something that a camera can't pick up either, but can be added with some tricks. I love photoshop!
Heidi I totaly love thinking of it that way! now i wont feel too bad loving it so much and what it can do for photos! i absolutely love color filled photos and its true that sometimes you just can't get that through your camera!
i'm so jealous of your awesome photography skills/the fact that you actually have a great camera with which to practice said skills. and i've never even opened photoshop once. i hear it's pretty great.
