happy valentines

i loved that valentines was on Sunday because it gave us a whole weekend to celebrate! Friday we made pizza (toppings laid out in the shape of a heart) and watched the opening ceremonies...Saturday went to a movie my sweet husband told me i could choose.. he said he would go to any chick flick...so we went to avatar :) i didn't want him to suffer..i actually liked it. it was a really creative movie...

then on Sunday morning max immediately wanted to open presents...so i gave him his card and reeses..nothing much i know. Then i opened my present and this is what i saw:


i did what it said and much to my surprise i saw this:




i was quite surprised/ecstatic! we have been looking for a car for the past month and on friday night this one came up on KSL that was perfect! Max went to look at it on Saturday but called me a little disappointed saying the car wasn't 4 wheel drive, and we really want a 4 wheel drive car. I was totally bummed cause i thought it was the one...little did i know that he and his sister were buying the car and then secretly hid it from me...

of course i made me comments about how sad i was about the car not working out and all of that...and yet everyone kept a straight face...it was a complete surprise

i am so so excited for this car...i hate driving small cars because i don't feel safe...we are also so excited to take it camping!

all in all i would say it was a pretty good valentines day and not just because of the car...(that did help) but because i am married to the man of my dreams. i didn't think i could be this in love and this happy. everyday with my sweetie is so incredible. he makes me laugh and smile so much and i am so grateful i get to spend forever with someone that is my everything + more!
