thought i would give an update on max.
he is loving school. he has had some pretty neat experiences that are making this
experience incredibly worth it.
1. He was in class and they were talking about dealing with crisis management with recalls. Max brought up the example of the Ford and Firestone recall from 2000. Then his professor smiled and said he was actually sitting next to the CEO of Ford when the CEO got the call about the huge issue with the tires on the Escapes and Explorers. He then proceeded to tell the class his first hand experience watching the CEO deal with this. It definitely enhances the learning experience when you have professors who have been in these real life situations.
2. Today he attended a lecture with the CFO (chief financial officer) for Nike...which is one of his dreams jobs. He got to talk with him one on one for a few minutes and make a connection which is fantastic for possible internships this summer.
3. Next month he gets to go to dinner with the Managing Director of the consulting company, McKinsey. Which is another company he is hoping to work for!
He is loving his classes and the learning environment....
He is incredibly busy and working so hard but loving it.
It is such a blessing for him to be somewhere he loves and we truly feel so blessed! .
