the wedding of mr. and mrs. marsden

so i am FINALLY getting back to blogging...we took an extremely long and awesome holiday break and I am here to blog about it....so first things first....the wedding of my little sister..

I was lucky enough to be able to go to utah a week earlier to help with the wedding preparations...we spent the whole week hanging out, crafting and enjoying our time together. my sister and i are only 18 months apart and best friends. we are so similar in our mannerisms and expressions and thoughts. it is the absolute best thing in the entire world to have your sister be your best friend. the second best thing is seeing her absolutely in love with a guy who is head over heels for her.

so i will give a timeline of the wedding in about a million pictures

week before the wedding: i arrive in utah. we end up at weber high and reminisce the beginning of the marsden's love

{ hugging in front of the classroom where they had their first class together}
during the week: the crafting begins

thursday: lindsey goes through the brigham city temple (on the exact same date I went through 4 years earlier)

sometime during the week: went to a tree lot to pick up the extra branches
kept crafting and inhaling way too much spray paint plus getting in trouble for getting too much glitter on my dad's garage floor
friday: took a trip to city creek to do some shopping
 {yea they are adorable}
the crafting doesn't stop

 {my dad cleaned our rings and made them super sparkly}

monday: we take a break to get our nails done

and then the big day ARRIVED......

5:00 am wake up to get beautified

9:00 am : Mr. and Mrs. Marsden are married for time and all eternity
9:30 am: we wait in the cold weather for the newlyweds

9:45 am:  they come out

{she is the most beautiful bride...i love this picture because I love how happy they make each other}

our family (just missing bryson)

{sean is trying to protect lindsey from the cold...i can't even begin to tell you how stinkin cold it was..}

10:30 -11:30 freeze to death while trying to take pictures...i don't know how lindsey's arms survived

{my personal favorite picture}

12:00 pm: arrive at maddox for the luncheon

12:30 pm: the program begins. it was a really fun luncheon.

the marsden's have a fun tradition where the family members give them gifts representing a tradition or good memory from growing up together to bring to their new family
 gave home alone
 really large man pants and pickles
 a pizza pan, cheese grater and ice cream scoop
 an adventure book
 the forgotten carols
jacob and his "friend"

then sean's grandpa sang a song that he sung at sean's parents wedding and his own wedding

2:30-3:30: rush back to north ogden to hurry and get things set up for the reception

{relaxing}

3:30-5:30: set up for the most beautiful reception

5:30: freshen up for the reception

5:45-6:00 : take some pictures

{my cute great-grandma}
6:00 pm: let the party begin

{she kept doing this when i would hold up a camera. also notice the flecks of cinnamon all over her face}
{she is absolutely adorable}

{if you look in the back you will see sean doing the exact same thing as lindsey)

it was one of the funnest days. i'm so happy for my sister and my new brother-in-law.
