Vienna was the start of the Culture Quest. Max is in the Lauder Program also at Wharton and the Lauder program does a Culture Quest where you form groups of 4 or 6 and have to travel from one place to another, without air travel. (Very much like the amazing race). Our route was to get from Vienna to Istanbul in 10 days.Then along the way there was a list of different activities we could do to get points. Whoever had the most points in the end won :)
So we got to Vienna and checked into our Lauder paid for hotel and it was AMAZING. It was the Hotel Le Meriden and located right in the center of Vienna.
Vienna is the city of GINORMOUS buildings. We were so surprised by the buildings and just how magnificent they were. We had fun just roaming around and taking it all in.
Day 2 Is when we actually started the Quest and went out exploring with our group.

Loved the culture and feel of Vienna. And glad we started out the Culture Quest there.
